Learn General Indonesian in Bali

Six levels are currently available:

1. Beginner
2. Elementary
3. Pre-Intermediate
4. Intermediate
5. Upper Intermediate
6. Advanced

• Course will run when a minimum of 3 students per level have registered
• Class Schedule Monday to Friday at 10.30 - 12.30 or 18.00 - 20.00 WITA (Central Indonesian Time/GMT+8)

Course Fee: IDR 4,000,000*

*Price covers 40 hours of study, certificate and the use of IALF resources and facilities.

Online General Indonesian courses can also be scheduled based on client request.

• A Rp 1,000,000 deposit (non-refundable) is required to confirm the course booking. The remainder is payable on the first day of the course.
• Should the students withdraw from the course within the week prior to course commencement, a cancellation fee amounting to 20% of the total course fee is applied.
• Should IALF cancel the class for any reason, a full refund will be paid, or the fee can be transferred to the forthcoming course schedule.
• The course fee is not transferable or refundable should the student withdraw at any time during the course.
• The fee for the placement test is Rp 50,000 (non-refundable).
• Note: If the minimum class size is exceeded, each student will receive a significant deduction (discount) from their total course fee.

Prior to course commencement students take a placement test consisting of a brief interview and written test. Each level (40 hours of tuition) follows a theme-based syllabus with tasks designed to encourage you to use your newly-acquired language in real life communication.  Grammar and vocabulary are taught as a means of facilitating communication rather than ends in themselves.

Assessment is on a continuous basis, with grades being assigned for performance in language tasks, homework and class participation. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

A minimum of 3 people is required to run a class (based on the result of IALF entrance test).
