Sri has been teaching with IALF since 2000. Sri has had a lot of experience teaching both English and Indonesian, and her qualifications include Sarjana Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (BA English Language Education) from STKIP, Singaraja, a Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), along with a Young Learners Extension to CELTA conducted at The British Institute in Jakarta.
Three years after starting to work for IALF, Sri took up a one-year secondment to the Department of Education, NSW, Australia where she worked as an Indonesian Teaching Assistant at a number of schools in Sydney and rural NSW.
Between 2005 and 2006 Sri was a materials writer for Flying Start, a 3 year English Language for Junior High School course, published by Erlangga Press in 2007. These materials were designed in line with the Indonesian National Curriculums of 2004 and 2006. Sri has recently worked in Papua as a Language Testing Assessor and as an instructor in English for Academic Purposes and IELTS Preparation for the Papuan Department of Education Scholarship program. Sri has taught Aviation English courses for PT Angkasa Pura in Bali, Hotel English courses for many of the 5 star hotels in Bali and Lombok, and classes for an English Language Upgrading Program to Lecturers of Universitas Islam Sunan Ampel, Surabaya. Sri also worked as the Coordinator for ELTA (English Language Teaching Assistance) in NTT, funded by Australia Awards.
Her current focus is the development of online learning resources for the Bahasa Indonesia program, developed on the Canvas LMS (Learning Management System).
