Staff Profile – Monica Roberts

Monica was born and raised on the East coast of Canada.  She achieved her Bachelor degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1996. She majored in Sociology and Social Anthropology and minored in French.  Since then she has lived, travelled, studied and worked in various places around the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico, China and South Korea. She is passionate about travelling and has a great desire to learn more about the world.  It is this love of travel which led her into a career in English language teaching.  She obtained her CELTA certificate in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2011, and has been an English language teacher ever since.
