Made Mahardika (Made) grew up in a family of teachers, leading him in turn to go into the teaching profession himself. He started his career as an English teacher at IALF Bali in 2005 and thinks that being a teacher is neither easy nor challenging, but very enjoyable! In his more than 15 years of teaching experience, Made has met many students from different backgrounds and with different motivations, and the thing that he likes the most is when his students tell him that they enjoy learning English more after joining English classes at IALF. During his time at IALF Bali, Made has been to Australia twice as part of a Teacher Exchange program: in 2009 to teach in schools Western Australia and in 2012 to teach in schools in Lismore, NSW. In Bali, Made has taught on a variety of programs, including Indonesian language to Australian school groups, and English for Nurses and Midwives. In 2014, he presented at the NELTAL Conference in Malang and in the same year he completed his Trinity College London Cert TESOL at IALF Bali.
