ELTA Bali – International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Participants of the ELTA (English Language Teaching Assistance) Bali Program commemorated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at IALF Bali. Commemorated since 1992 across the world, this year the United Nations encouraged people with disabilities to take on leadership roles and participate in the 2030 Development Agenda.
This year's commemoration has a deeper meaning for the ELTA Bali participants as they have successfully passed a rigorous selection process in order to become a participant. Through this program, they also discovered new friends from across Indonesia and shared their knowledge about the world of disabilities.
ELTA Bali is a program with inclusive classroom sessions. Upon the completion of the training program, participants are hoped to apply for a masters degree with the Australia Awards Scholarship. IALF Bali has become home for the ELTA program since 2016. The learning methods and facilities that are disability-friendly enables the participants to study effectively and happily.
ELTA Bali is the initiative of the Australia government through Australia Awards in Indonesia
