Komang Wardini, a native of Amlapura in Bali, has been with IALF for over 15 years. Komang has two daughters studying at Univeritas Udayana. Her eldest daughter is studying Economics and her other daughter is studying Law. Besides teaching, Komang managed the General English program at IALF Bali for many years, however, for the past few years her work as been with the Teacher Training Department based at IALF Bali. This has given Komang a wide range of new experiences working with keen and enthusiastic teachers through both short and longer courses and events. Regular teacher training workshops are held at IALF Bali where topics include Teaching Young Learners to English for Specific Purposes, Teaching grammar Communicative and Motivating Students. These workshops are active and not just a lecture situation. The participants are very busy throughout the sessions and actually complete the various classroom activities being presented to them. At different times of the year, Komang is involved on a regular basis with the delivery of the Trinity Cert TESOL course at IALF Bali.
