IALF
Certificate in Self Access Centre Design and Management (C-SACDM) |
The IALF C-SACDM is a modular course which has been designed principally
for people considering establishing a Self Access Centre and for
staff who already work in a Self Access Centre who would like to
upgrade their skills and knowledge, in order to run their Centre
more efficiently.
C-SACDM Framework
The C-SACDM is a 125-hour course, divided into a series of five
individual training modules, each of five days (Monday – Friday)
or 25 hours’ duration. It has been designed to combine classroom
input with the opportunity to work on individual and group tasks
as well as practical experience related to the module taken.
Input sessions will generally be delivered in the mornings, with
afternoons and evenings given over to task completion and practical
training.
Completion of all five modules leads to the award of the IALF C-SACDM.
This will be accompanied by a comprehensive report of the participant’s
participation, motivation and performance in module tasks.
Alternatively it is possible to join just one of the modules and
receive a Certificate of Attendance for the module taken.
