This presentation will discuss the design and process of developing an online intermediate Indonesian course using WebCT platform. In particular, it will discuss the philosophical basis, rationale, structure, problems, etc. It will also discuss some main features including the contents, exercises, facilities for students' participation. Advantages and disadvantages of such projects will also be discussed. The project requires a lot of time and energy to complete. The question is does it worth the efforts? The audience will be able to see and try the program (facilities e.g. computers and internet access permitting).
