How to register for the IELTS Test

The IALF is an official testing centre in Indonesia for the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test.

Please note that there is a high demand for IELTS tests and some test dates are already full. Please register early to ensure you get the test date that you require.

To register for the IELTS test, please note the following:

You must fill in an official application form for the IELTS test. These are available at the IALF and must be submitted at the time of registration. You can also download an application form from www.ielts.org.
The application form must include two recent photographs that measures 4cm x 6cm. Smaller photographs will not be accepted.
Candidates must not wear glasses in the photographs they submit for IELTS registration.
The ID number you use must be clearly stated - KTP or Passport - and a photocopy of the ID attached.
For candidates outside Jakarta, Surabaya or Denpasar the original form with attachments must be sent by TIKI (local express courier) to reach the IALF at least one week before the test date for which you have registered.
Candidates must bring with them to the test the original of the ID quoted on the application form - please note that photocopies are not acceptable. Candidates who show ID different from that stated on their application form will not be allowed to take the test on that day.
The IALF cashier cannot accept payment from candidates who do not submit an application form. The form must be submitted at the time of payment.
IELTS test results can be obtained from the IALF 13 days after the test date.

Be careful of organisations who offer you a 'predictor IELTS bandscore'
as they are unauthorised to do so and results could be misleading.

IELTS Test Fee in Indonesia

IELTS Australia has increased the IELTS test fee in Indonesia from $180 USD to $195 USD effective 1 September 2010 for all tests after that date. www.ielts.org will be updated to reflect this increase by Monday 2 August 2010.

Please note that this change applies to all the IELTS Australia Test Centres in Indonesia, (IDP, IALF and Australia Centre Medan).
