In-house Training

The IALF has provided in-house language training for a large number of corporate clients over the past twenty years from a wide range of business backgrounds.

Training can be conducted on locations throughout Indonesia. In addition to on-site teaching in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali the IALF has posted teachers to Kalimantan, Timor, Lombok, Sulawesi, Sumba, Sumbawa and Irian Jaya, as well as cities throughout Java, such as Semarang, Solo, Jember, Purwokerto and Bandung.

Specialised Business English programs are designed in consultation with the client and can be delivered in-house on client premises or at IALF centres in Jakarta, Surabaya or Bali. Classes can be scheduled to suit client requirements.

The IALF also offers test preparation courses for a range of internationally recognized business English tests such as, BULATS, BEC and TOEIC.

Specialised Business English Programs

The first step in providing such training is to visit the client and conduct a needs analysis as well as a testing session for the proposed course participants. With the information gained from the needs analysis and the proficiency profiles, the IALF is able to design acourse appropriate to the learning needs of the participants as well as to the training goals of the organisation.

Courses can be short three-day workshops that focus on a particular English language skill - for example, report writing or business correspondence, or longer courses that aim to develop several language skills relevant to communicating in English in general business contexts such as meetings, effective negotiation and presentation skills or more specialized business environments such as hospitality and tourism, freight forwarding, manufacturing or banking.
